Learning the English Lanuage!

From the two weeks so far of doing this course, I have learnt so many new terms (and remembered some old ones) that make you realise how big the English language is and how much I have to learn! After familiarising myself the basics of adjectives, verbs, nouns, adverbs and pronouns and going over what accent and dialect is, I begin to go into territory of learning vocabulary and definations for words to describe different language facilties. This week I have learnt the different word classes, the different structure for scentances - simple, compound and complex and the types of scentance - imparitve, exclamtory.
